Tie Guan Yin Classic has always been one of our favourites and this year’s is no exception. The ‘classic’ in Tie Guan Yin Classic comes from the production method, which leaves the dry leaf in stips like a dan cong or a rock tea and not in balls or pearls like most tie guan yins. This classic method definitely changes the experience for the better, the first scents of the dry leaves takes us to a happy place, with roasted chocolatey nuttiness! The liquor brews up a deep yellow with a slight orange tinge and gives us more delightful aromas of nectar and nuttiness, imploring us to take that first sip. As wonderful as the dry leaf and liquor aromas are, nothing compares to the amazing full flavour of the sip! A powerful bouquet of full bloomed flowers graces us, wrapped in light berry sweetness with hints of nuts and the aftertaste delivers a rich creaminess that makes the whole experience divine. We brewed many consistent infusion of this gracefully bold tea and we’re sure that you will love it too!
